The Cottage is located a few steps from the pier in Inveraray. Have your morning coffee outside the cottage door watching and listening to the waves on the shore. Or join in with the wild swimmers that take a dip at the pier. For more of a workout, you can walk (or run!) up to Dun na Cuaiche tower visible just a short distance away which overlooks the town at an elevation of 248 metres. An old watch tower built in 1748, is around a 2 hour walk and offers amazing views. The famous Inveraray Castle is just a short walk away and well worth a visit (most recently featured in the television programme “A very British scandal”). The Cottage is in a perfect location for enjoying both the delights of Inveraray or walks and trips further afield.
Downstairs there is an open plan sitting room and kitchen. Enjoy all the mod cons within a traditional cosy cottage. With a dishwasher, cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, Google nest and smart TV. A large dining table in the corner provides space to eat, lay out travel maps and make plans or play cards or one of the board games provided. There are two luxurious sofas to snuggle into for those cosy nights, which make the living room complete.
The twin room beds can be used separately or put together to create a king size bed. As with the double bedroom, the beds have super comfy hypnos mattresses and you can drift off spotting star constellations from your bed under a velux window. A chest of drawers and hanging wardrobe offer plenty of space to store your clothes and essentials.
We can provide a cot and/or highchair, pet bed and bowls. Free WiFi. When you book for a week, you receive a complimentary welcome basket, and if you require anything special, please get in touch and we will arrange this for you.
